AMERICAN CURL

cat small to medium size. Bones and musculature neither too strong nor too thin

the american curl cat is a player, discreet, sometimes reckless intelligent, attached to its owners and also sociable with other dogs.

Cat balanced character, an equal temperament, mischievous, playful, very easygoing. There are virtually no meows. It needs exercise and if possible leave a fenced garden is highly desirable.

The american curl is characterized by its ears bent backwards, called "crescent".

For exposures, it is recognized three degrees Earrings:

First level: the ears are fairly straight.

Second degree: a little curved (almost in a right angle).

Third degree, pink button. Eartips must never touch the skull.

There are two varieties of American Curl: short hair and long hair (the most common). At first, the coat is short and silky. The undercoat is reduced. In the second it is medium long with a fine texture and little undercoat. Well supplied, the tail is shaped like a pen.

All colors are allowed.

Large, walnut shaped, well spaced. The color should be bright, deep, uniform, has no relation to that of the coat.
