BALINESE

This cat is the variety to medium-length hair Siamese

Lanky, slender and muscular. The silhouette is balanced and elegant. The size is medium to large.

Male 4 to 5 kg, female 2.5 to 3.5 kg

Hug, super affectionate, clingy, possessive, exclusive, jealous, very active, playful, mischievous and very curious.

The hair is shoulder-length and must not include undercoat. The hair is fine and silky, lying on the body. Balinese must not have collar but the pants and the tail should be well supplied hairs. At the shoulders the hair may be shorter.

This is a point color cat, that is to say, with the ends (mask, ears, paws and tail) darker than the body. There must be a clear contrast between the "points" and body. All colors "Siamese" are accepted.

Note: The CFA recognizes only four colors (seal point, blue point, chocolate point lilac point) in Balinese. Those who wear a different color points are baptized JAVANESE (USA). In Europe, there is no distinction and the name of Balinese is valid for all colors dot.

Medium size, almond shaped, set slightly oblique. The eyes are the most intense blue as possible.

			It is very close to his master, they are "dog-cat". He likes to spend and will always be with you in your activities. Ideal companion for all ages. He gets along well with other animals and with children. The Balinese is a cat "chatty" and communicative. He fears loneliness. Balinese requires much attention and affection. It needs exercise and visit the highest places of the house or apartment (cat tree, furniture, ....). If possible get a fenced garden is desirable. The Balinese, cousin of the Siamese, however has a more moderate character than this one! It is unclear why, but in the same litter, the kittens will have a long-haired calmer character than short hair.
